Join us at SOAR365 during Summer Camp!

SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,700 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families, an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across their lifespan. 

We're seeking volunteers to assist us this summer! Each week, campers pour in the door to have a fun experience and we need volunteers to help make it even more special! This is a perfect opportunity for companies, civic organizations, church teams, and more!  Prior to beginning, you will attend a short training on working with individuals with disabilities and we can help you feel ready for a fun event. We can promise that whether you've worked directly with individuals with disabilities before or not, you will have a BLAST!

Because this volunteer shift requires working directly with our participants with disabilities and asks volunteers to be ready to take charge and jump in where needed, we ask that all volunteers in the group be 16 and older.

Schedule:

• Thursdays: We're looking for groups to help support our Talent Show and weekly BBQ! This need is from 3-6 PM.
• Sundays: We need volunteers to help GREET our participants each week! Volunteers will welcome campers, help them sign-in, unload bags, and more. This need is from 11:30 AM - 4PM.
• Sunday (Medical professionals needed!) We need qualified volunteers who can work alongside our RN with medication logging during check-in days at summer camp (Sundays, approximately 11:30am - 4pm, or anytime within that window). A qualified person is an LPN, RN, M.D. or Pharmacist. We also welcome individuals with a medication administration certification (32 hour class)
  
  

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:

• Ideal candidate: fun, engaging, and excited to jump in!
• Training: prior to beginning, you will attend a training on working with individuals with disabilities. You do not need to have any prior experience!
